September:

 

October:

Evergy Community Scholarship. Due October 15.

Missouri Cattlemen's Scholarship  $1,000. Applicants must be a current paid member of the Missouri Junior Cattlemen's Association or their parent/guardian must be a member of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association. Applications due October 15.

VFW Youth Scholarships. Voice of Democracy scholarship entry is Due October 31.  

Coca Cola Scholarship Due October 31.  

College JumpStart Scholarship. Deadlines October 17 and April 15.

November:

Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship  $1,000 and up. Due November 14. 

National Honor Society Scholarship Students must be a member of the National Honor Society and must obtain login information from Mr. Anderson. Due November 30.

Soil and Water Conservation Society. Show-Me Chapter Scholarship. $1,000. Due November 28.

December: 

Ray Stoesser Memorial Scholarship (US Rice Producers Association). $5,000. Due December 1.

Missouri Youth Pork Ambassador Scholarship  $1,000. Due December 15. 

Missouri Corn Scholarships  $1,000

Hagan Scholarship. Up to $48,000 over four years. Due December 1.

January:

National FFA Scholarships. Click on Scholarship Opportunities button to see the list of scholarships and the required supplements. Due January 11.

USDA National Scholars Program and USDA 1994 Tribal Scholars Program.  Applicants must be pursuing a degree in agriculture.

Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Scholarships. $1,000 and up. Due January 31.

February:

Ellis Foundation Scholarships. $1,000 each semester. Must have a minimum ACT score of 20. Due February 19. Click on the application button at the top of the page and submit your email to request an application.

Epsilon Sigma Alpha Foundation (ESA) Scholarships. Various amounts, due February 1.

MFA Scholarship. Deadline is Feb 15.

Missouri State Fair Youth in Agriculture Scholarship. Deadline is Feb 1.

Mediacom World Class Scholarship. $1,000.

National Eagle Scout Scholarship. Various Scholarships. Due January 31. 

March:

Jerald L. Andrews Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Scholarship. $5,000. Due March 12. Must have participated in sport(s) in high school. Must also submit a one-page essay addressing "How participating in a sport(s) and/or your coach has made an impact in your life." Must create an account on the web portal. Click "Apply" on the tool bar. Type "public" in the Enter Access Code box and click "Enter Code." If necessary, search for the Jerald L. Andrews.

GVMH Healthcare Scholarship. $2,000 (renewable). Due March 1.

West Central Retired School Personnel Association Scholarship. $500. Applicants must be planning to major in education. Due March 1.

Women Legislators of Missouri Caucus Scholarship. $1,000. Due March 1.

Community Foundation of the Ozarks Scholarships. Various amounts. Most are due March 12. One scholarship specifically for this area is Terry and Deborah Mitchel Scholarship of $1,000.

Henry County Cattlemen Association Scholarships. $500 (3 scholarships awarded). Due March 23.

Missouri Broadcasters Association Scholarship. Due Mar 31.

Hawthorn Bank Scholarship.  $1,000. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must be majoring in business or finance. Due March 31.  

Missouri Bankers Foundation Scholarship. $1,000. Applicants must be planning to major in a field related to banking such as accounting or finance.

West-Central Missouri Association of School Administrators Scholarship. Applicants must be majoring in education. Only one applicant per district. See Mrs. Drehle if interested. The application is Here.

Missouri Women's Golf Association Scholarship.

Charles E. Kruse Agricultural Scholarship$1,000. Applicant’s parents must be Farm Bureau members and applicant must be planning to major in agriculture at a 4-year Missouri college or university.  

Missouri Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture Vocational Scholarship. $500. Students attending a two-year vocational or trade school may apply. Applicants' parents or guardians must be a member of Farm Bureau.

Opal M. Huffman Memorial Scholarship. $2,500 first semester, renewable for $1,000 spring semester. Create an account, fill out a general scholarship application through the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation, apply for eligible scholarships. 

Masonic Lodge of Missouri Scholarship. $1,000. GPA, class rank, ACT, involvement in extracurricular activities, and financial need considered. 

April:

Montrose Student Council Scholarship. Applications are due to Mrs. Kimsey by April 15.

H&E West Mo Vet Clinic Scholarship. $1,000. Due April 15. Students must be planning to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Agriculture Scholarship of the Greater Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce. $1,000. Due April 3. Application form here.

Dr. John A. Chapin Agricultural Scholarship $1,000. Due April 3. Application form here.

rootEd Scholarship. $12,000 (renewable). Due April 17.

United Producers Scholarship. $1,000. Due Apr 1.

Mike Rowe WORKKS Foundation Scholarship. For trade school and training programs. Due April 14.

Henry County Farm Bureau Scholarship. Due April 15.

John Byron Corbin Charitable Trust Scholarship. Pays for tuition, books, fees and living expenses. Due Apr 15.

Montrose AIM Scholarship. Due April 19 to the counselor.

Appleton City Car Club Scholarship  $1,000. Scholarship is available for both Montrose and Appleton City students. Applications should be submitted to Coach Moore or the school counselor.

Montrose VFW Scholarship. Due April 1. Students must submit an essay.

AC/Montrose Masonic Lodge Scholarship. $500. Scholarship is for Montrose and Appleton City students only. Scholarship will be paid when students enroll in their second semester of college.

Scott Keck Memorial Scholarship. $500. Due April 28

Mo-Kan Livestock Scholarship. Due April 1

Missouri Department of American Legion Scholarships  $750-$1,000. Various scholarships. However, regarding the Sharon Dean Voyles Memorial Scholarship, only one scholarship per school may be submitted. The scholarships are all due April 20th and they are on the American Legion website as pdf files. If you would like any of the American Legion scholarships in Word format, please contact Mrs. Beckett. 

Golden Valley Memorial Hospital Hospital Auxiliary Professional Health Care Scholarship. renewable. Due April 4. Details about the scholarship found Here

Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare Scholarship. Due April 15. Apply Here

OPAA Scholarship $1,000 (renewable). Applicants must fill out an application on the Scholarship Central website (see above).

May

Montrose CTA Scholarship. $250. Applicants must write a 500-word essay describing their future plans and how they will use the scholarship money. Funds will be paid directly to the student when proof of full-time enrollment in college is provided (schedule). Essays are due to Ms. Cooper in person or by email ([email protected]) by 6 PM Friday, May 10, 2024.

Patricia Kalwei Sanders Scholarship. $500. Due May 6. Applicants must submit the completed application and an essay.

June

Missouri Boys State Scholarship. Up to $25,000 (renewable). Must have attended Boys State in 2022. Due June 8.

Missouri Girls State Scholarship. $19,100. Must have attended Girls State in 2022. due June 15.
